Mr Gooeyway (known to government officials as Chris Galloway) is a hilariously hilarious writer of, so far, one amazing children’s book, silly poems and his own author profiles.

He has worked in education for almost two decades, spending the last ten years making children laugh with and at him as a primary school teacher.

This ten years spent in close, regular proximity to some very peculiar children has had both positive and negative consequences on Mr Galloway.

The negative:

• in trying to sustain energy through the day he has consumed far too many biscuits and way too much cake.

• he has given up on his appearance as he no longer has the energy to cut his hair or regularly trim his beard.

• he has started referring to himself in the third person.

The positives:

• as his mind breaks free from reality to escape the chaos and noise of his classroom he finds himself transported to weird and wonderful worlds where he meets the strange and fascinating characters that appear in his writing.
